I put an 86 AOD Ď53 with with an Speedway Adaptor and Lockar linkage. Works great. Gotta be careful and set the throttle pressure correctly or you can burn up the trans.

3:55 is debatable as a good ratio for and AOD without a kit. Check ratio before running. Putting in a kit afterwards is so messy, I know!
