... and while I'm back, another request for advice, this time on cracks at two of the four cam gear bolt holes. Are these problems?

Thank you, all! Very helpful. I'll get the crank magnafluxed. The shells were only .010 under so I'm hoping it will clean up and am glad the casting issue isn't an up-front deal breaker. And...
