Re: Maybe starter problems?

If you can hear nothing when you hit the starter switch, your starter Bendix could be stuck in the flywheel. Try turning the engine over by hand with a crank. This will disengage a stuck starter. ...

Re: Bent timing pin

This must be what you are referring to? It sticks out of the timing cover when not in use and WOULD make a good thing to pry against for reasons we shudder to think about.
So when you tried to use...

Re: How to Restore 29 Phaeton Top Irons?

Here is a way to repair the nailing strips within the top irons. Started with a plastic mud flap from an old U Haul truck. Cut into strips that will fit the top iron. Tap into place so that it is...

Re: Staple length?

I've never used a pneumatic stapler, always just tacks. Always wished I had a pneumatic stapler, though. As with tacks, use the longest staples you can that will sink in flush with whatever...

I misspoke. The shocks I was referring to were also made by Pete of Chicago. Not Rick. He was also known as "Pete the Vendor". Sorry for confusion.

Re: Pickup Fenders????

The fender on the left is a 28-29. The fender on the right hand photo is 30-31.
