WTB: Spare tire carrier clamp
Prefer brass but iron or steel will do. Just need one to replace the one that I lost. A clamp design that is unlike the one pictured is ok also. The goal is have a clamp to hold the tire.

Warford transmission for TT trucks. Rotates freely and smoothly. Got it from a TT guy back in 1983. Dad and I were going to put together a TT but he passed away shortly thereafter. Needless to say...

It dies at idle and at 25-35 mph speed.
I even drove with the gas cap off.
Turning the choke rod a bit ccw also caused back firing at...

Engine dies, back to 6V from 12V?
I previously posted and tried all the recommendations: venting, filters, gas line, gas, spark plugs, etc.
Still have the engine dying problem.
I now believe it is the 12 volt conversion.

The part on top is unknown.

Gas cap is good.
Fresh gas.
Fuel line tube properly set.
Filters clean.
Coil changed per previous advice.
Zenith rebuilt about a year ago.
Runs fine for a long time,...

'29 A pickup.
Engine is starving for fuel while riding, then engine dies.
Will start again and repeat dying condition.
Repeat cycle again.
I was able to get home after discovering to pull out...

A coil question from a stupid newbie, again
The coil has positive and negative stud terminals.
Which stud terminal connects to the distributor?
It was suggested to replace the coil on a '29 closed cab pickup.

I checked the fuel flow.
Disconnected the fuel line from the carb.
Also checked the filters.
Filters not clogged.
Opened the valve inside the car.
The fuel flow was continuous.
Shook the truck...

Newbie asking help, 29 pickup
Just acquired a 29 closed cab pickup.
Everything new and/or rebuilt.
Converted to 12 volt.
New Optima battery.
Full tank of gas.
Proper setting of choke rod and timing lever.
Starts very good....
