Re: Which rad brace 47 fenders on 41 frame

Re: Stripped threads in valuable intake- Time Sert vs. TIG and redrill or other

If you use a "key lock" type insert insert, they usually have thin wall and thick wall if you're worried about too large. I've used dozens of them and never had one pull out. Check McMaster-Carr...

Re: Le Barron Bonney installer

I would think any good upholstery shop would do it. you'd be only paying for the labor.actually if it's only seats you can do it yourself. Hog rings, pull tight and keep everything straight.

Re: Walker 32 radiator. Water neck openings why so small?

Re: Brake lights swapping when signaling - 61 Galaxie

My '60 ford has a dodgy turn signal and if I don't manually make sure the left signal is cancelled good I get no L. brake light, R. will be OK.

Re: Body Re assembling after paint 38

I watched Boyd Coddington's crew get a car all lined up before paint and then they drilled small holes next to a couple bolts of each piece. then after paint, they reassembled and put pins in the...

Re: Which rad brace 47 fenders on 41 frame

a rad. in a '41 has lower mounts on the frame and upper mounts that attach to the inner fenders. also I believe '41 fenders mount differently than '47. I'd go with whichever parts matches up the best...

Re: Y block water temp sending unit

If your temp gauge doesn't work at all it could be gauge or sender. ground sender wire to a ground, with ign. on and gauge should move to hot. if so I'd suspect bad sender. If gauge doesn't read...
