Originally ,39 mercury I believe . We found a 39 mercury pinion and crown wheel local , just had to cut off the full length pinion and respline it to std. ford 6 spline length.

Hopefully the parts I have for you tomorrow will get you started on the road to recovery. Think we have an axle and stubs. Just need to dig them out of the piling system .

I know we getting OT but we use an ultrasonic pest repellant . It wasn’t the budget model as they do not work. It simply sends ultra sonic signals through the wiring . Never had a pest since.

Axle, would this setup even work , does the rear axle on parallel leaves move slightly rearward on the hangers as the spring flattens ?? And adding a TT stops this ??

Melling M19 oil pump
There seems to be a raft of M19 mellings 42 to later type oil pumps on Ebay . Do they claim to be Melllings or are they actually that . What are folks thoughts on quality of these pumps .

Yikes, I am not familiar with that bracket. Maybe all these years I have had the park brake mounting wrong . If memory serves me correct back in the early 80s we pillaged the brakes off a 42 sedan ....
