I have “scabbed” wood before. That is mainly where an outer edge has gotten dry or wet soft particularly on sills. That entails being able to get behind metal, cut out the bad and glue/screw/biscuit...

How are those pieces different than others?
I understand left brake etc
Are they the same as all 30-31 model a??

It’s not that easy to find solid core...

They are cranky bodies; combine the factors of wood, flex, making the top keep pressure, Windows (especially in a B, door line up ........

I likely/maybe have both but the latches will need to rebuilt....I do that

I’ve used devcon epoxy for cracks and minor voids
Then used a two part paint
Actually DP 90 will work some like a glossy finish...I don’t
Clean it well whatever u use
