Re: Buying an out of state car on the internet

NEVER buy a car you haven't actually put your hands on. I have been burned twice by doing that. They always look better in photos than they do in person. Heck, I even saw a coupe at a swap meet just...

I am retired and on fixed income. I have already invested thousands of dollars in a car and can no longer afford to shell out $20 or more to enter into a show so that someone else who gets in free...

Re: Charlotte Autofair

I haven't seen a "looker" at a swap meet or car show since the 80s. Nowadays they are like me....old, ugly and fat.☺

Early 1928 Model A roadster pickup

I hate to do it but I think I need to sell my 28 roadster pickup. I haven't driven it in 3 years and its just collecting dust in the garage. Its a solid car that ran good when I last drove it. It...

Re: Pictures of my dash Hydro dipped in woodgrain

As an aside note, can someone tell me which cars were given the woodgrain treatment from the factory? I have never seen an original with it.

Question about spraying clear lacquer

I started to spray some clear lacquer on one of my trucks today with my conventional HLVP sprayer and the paint started coming out like tiny confetti or cobwebs. It sprayed OK last month using the...

Re: The color and the shape!! Body styles and color photo thread!!

Here is my early 28 open cab pickup. I bought it like this from a deceased person's family. Not sure what shade of green it is or even if its an original color. Looks like an original shade to me....
