Checked a 31 rad totally different,so that is not the case.
The car came with this rad so I don't know the history, so I guess it is just a bad repop.
The rad sheel came from snyders, fits the rad...

Where some repop rads made too tall/high?
As best I can measure, ours is 23 1/2 in from top of the rad mounting frame to the top of the tank. I installed a new rad shell and had to enlarge the crank...

After installing a rebuilt engine everything worked fine except for this odd irregular clicking sound when driving. At first i thought it was something to do with the running gear, oiled the sqeaky...

I've just ordered the kit from Snyders the 25001-f kit.
Having read thru some of the strings on this install, does one leave the top long sprin off when installing this kit?
