Part Identification - ‘24 Tudor

Hello,

I am a new member here and recently purchased a 24 Tudor. I am wondering if anyone can identify these brackets and what they are used for? All the photos I have searched have no brackets...

Like I said, mine is on rear floor, and mine is a late 28 phaeton. Engine assembled in October acording to records which means by the time it was shipped and car was built, it probably wasn't sold...

I do not plan on selling this car in my lifetime, and I hope my son won't either. That being said, does the Australian build affect value? I'm going to keep digging and get a whole history of this...

Called my grandpa, and it is in fact ash. It has some evidence of a RHD conversion!
This is getting interesting.
I wonder why someone payed to ship to the U.S. And convert when they could buy one...

I also remember him saying it was built out of a different type of wood then his other model a's. Did they use a certain type of wood in Australia?

I had someone go and verify that the engine number is in fact ca55443, as well as the title vin. Looks like insurance messed up!

Rad. Emblem appears to be black, as well as round center clamp. I do not believe center clamp says made in Canada though... Will have to check shocks.

I will definitely be purchasing the judging books. Just seeing what I can find out here before it goes off to platers. I'm not going to enter this car into any contests... I own it for my own...

So cross reference engine number build date with firewall stamp and see if they are within range of each other.. Sounds good.

How do I tell if engine is original? From my understanding, the vin for the body can only be seen by removing body from frame. I got my build date by searching the vin I have on my insurance....
