read what our friend said [ the coolant is about 1" over the core " not full so my guess is where he is shooting the hoses there is NO coolant only air so if he tops off the coolant and retries ...

as AC/DC said its a long way to the top and hope it dont roll yeh i keep some fold up wheel chocks and a good piece of hardwood thats about 9"square x 2" thick generally does the trick

lots of guys have paid a lot more for oversized doorstops Roll the dice its ether sevens or snake eyes there would be something you can salvage off it so it wont be a total loss

just a thought check the master cylinder pushrod adjustment then bleed the master cylinder then all four wheels furthest first and so on If all good should wind up with 1/2 pedal play then a good...

tape is acceptable but the paste is the preferred sealant lubes the thread stops galling and thread binding [protects the thread] and allows the threads to seal at a much lower torque [win win win ]

thanks thats what ive been looking for a drum i can remachine to suit now just need to work out if i can use the buick drums should be able to as they are a factory item not an aftermarket...

Ronnie have you got a pic or a set of drawings that show how to mod the buick drum as the wide 5 is flat faced and the buick is dished looks like it would fit a forty or later hub without much drama...

just a thought why not replace the sump plug and fill the sump with kerosene or diesel and just let it sit for a couple of days [do not turn over] then drain it out it should soften any buildup...

use a quality ac condenser the more condenser you have the better the A/C will work especially with R134 [its a cow to condense ] don't know how you would go with it but my preference these days is...
