Good light, good eyesight, and a steady hand are as important as cleanliness to weld Tig. For heavy aluminum castings use aluminum electrodes on your stick welder.

Rare to find one. I bought a small rebuilt waterpump with the same size shaft (diaXlength) and put the new shaft,bearings and seal into my housing. Don't break your

pulley or impeller. Small...

79 today, first flathead was a 1950 ford four door V8 in high school. Oldest 1936 5 window coupe with Mercury V8. Only flathead left is a 1950 F1 with an original 226h assembled at the Henry Ford...

You could find a Holley PRO-Jection at a swap meet. Needs a 15# fuel pump and a return line to the tank. Also 12 volt. Use a GM throttle body 2V from an S10.

In the early 1960's when I first started working on trucks I did not have an impact wrench, so I bought slugging wrenches for the nuts. I still have them somewhere.
