Ok thanks. I just use it in the summer months but I wasn't sure about using synthetic or conventional oil.

Hey guys I have a 63 1/2 Galaxie 500 with a 352 engine. Is 15 -40 weight oil ok to use in it? I think that is what is in it now I just got it so I want to be sure. thanks,Jim

Thanks for the comeback. I am going to take the old one to a radiator shop and have them repair it but until then I'll put it back together with the new one and drive it.

I've been putting a bar of Irish Spring right by the hole in the floor where the clutch pedal goes through and never had a single mouse. I might put one under the passenger seat also.

Thanks. I am going to do the easiest thing first by replacing the oil pipe gaskets. Do I have to drain the oil to change them? I figured not cause all the oil would be settled down in the pan.

Anyone know which is the best oil pan gasket material to use, cork or paper? I haven't dropped my pan yet and I am not one hundred percent sure I need new gaskets but I have a lot of oil leaking...

Gerry so far I just used the biggest screwdriver I have and pried on the notches and I couldn't budge it. It's frustrating. I gave up on the hose I couldn't get it to go enough either way to get it...

I did sign out for about an hour or so and I got back in but it didn't help. I really do appreciate all the help and advice I am getting here though. I'm sure it will start working one of these days.

nkaminar, I have never tried another browser. I have had Firefox for many years. The trouble is only on the Ford Barn. It used to be fine but one day it just quit.

The weird thing about all this is that the problem is only happening on the Ford Barn site. I can click on links any where else and I have no problems. I hate computers. It didn't help turning off...
