Hood Lock

Would like to lock my hood when on travel, but don't want pins in the hood or a chain/lock hanging down. Anyone with a 55/56 car come up with an attractive & practical solution?

Re: Dangerous Moment Caught on Camera... 55 Ford on Jackstands

The word of caution is good. Had a neighbor in 2015 die/crushed changing blades on his riding lawn mower when a jack slipped. Had a wife and two teen age kids.
Doesn't take but one mistake and...

Ranger9903 - if you find something that works, would appreciate your posting.
I just replaced the lower "fuzzies", but like yourself have not found replacements
for the upper on the quarter window....

Re: Dot 4 or Dot 5 brake fluid?

Last year a friend made the switch and had nothing but trouble. I had been considering it and did extensive research before just doing it. I found that, basically the comments of Y-Blockhead are...

Re: Steering box rebuild question

The worm gear is pressed on to the steering shaft and would require special equipment to remove the gear and install a new one. You can buy a new shaft with the gear on it, as well as the other...

I think you identified the problem precisely.
I now have it running, with #1 in the position shown on the diagram
Ronnie provided (via web site ref) for #4.
So it is way off factory spec.
This...

Re: 1956 Crown Victoria Vent Window Handle
