Had difficult time with Ct Dmv, cleaned plate and painted, they said since i modified it could not get permission to use. Took paint off with stripper and tried Dmv office where it was ok to use...

Had same problem large puddle of oil , removed two shims from rear main brg, better.
You could remove shims until you can no longer turn engine over then add one back.

I had trans problems, replaced everything from pilot bearing back to u joint.
Would jump out of gear down hill, could not up shift.Got two old units and replaced bearings but 2nd gear noisy but...

With spare on 30 Coupe needed to install bracket extensions, to clear tire.



There are brackets that are thicker , so if a heavy load in trunk go for more robust ones.

runs cooler than original that was flushed and tested professionally.

Son had Ford Explorer with independent rear axle, towing boat approx 3000# above
40 mph swayed all over road, if you have class 1 hitch on vehicle limited as what you can tow. Some rental agencies...

Remove plug from bottom of carb, not bolt that holes the halfs togeather and see
if gas flows thru carb.

In les book he gives dimension for stud height, will give correct amount so studs go through nut.
