Some of these old cars have had a rough life. Quarter panel damage or rear end damage can get things out of kilter. The other problem mentioned is quality of new replacement parts. They can be close...

It's usually referred to as the panel above the deck lid. Folks always like to attach new terms to shorten or abbreviate long descriptions. Tulip doesn't jump right out and explain why it's called...
