I've used Melling M19 oil pumps for 20 years with no problems. I've personally put nearly 40k miles on my '35 fordor sedan that uses a Melling M19....not to be confused with the Melling M15 high...

I'm not too sure I would want to use Teflon tape on oil fittings, plugs, etc It's not inconceivable that pieces of that tape might get inside the oil pan, and get pulled into the oil flow system,...

When I visited Skip Haney several years ago, he was not winding the coils himself. This operation was being outsourced at that time to an automated coil winding facility.

I use stock condensers that are tested and known to be good with Skip's rewound coils. They work well....and last a good long time.
