Re: Radius rubber ball replacement

I put K-Y jelly on the wishbone ball. It's water soluble so it won't destroy the rubber ball. The rubber ball slides right on.

Re: '49 car fuel sending unit testing

I always took the wire off the sending unit and grounded it. Turn the ignition on and if the fuel gauge goes up to full then the problem is the sending unit. If the fuel gauge doesn't move the...

1939 Convertible Coupe

I'm looking for a 1939 Ford convertible coupe. It can be an older restoration as long as it's solid. It would help if it's in the New England, New York, New Jersey or Pennsylvania area.

Re: Wiper arm tension 1936

It's an aftermarket wiper arm. The wiper motor works very slow. When I release a little tension by lifting the arm with my finger, the wiper motor works as it should.

I'm looking for an older restored car. One that had a body off restoration years ago. I don't mind if it shows it's age a bit as long as there are no dents, no extra holes in the body, dash or...

Re: 1936 tools

According to the 1935-36 Ford Book by Don Rogers, Ford discontinued the tool boxes in the coupes and cabriolets sometime in 1935 and the tools went under the front seat. I don't think I can't fit...

Re: Cranking Capacity

Yes, I'm referring to the CCA (Cold Cranking Amps). I'm looking at a battery from NAPA. The dimensions are 8-1/4" long, 6-3/4" wide and 7-1/2" high to the top of the terminals. It's a little smaller...
