1936 Speedometer / Odometer Question

My speedometer never did work so I bought another one from ebay.
The problem started when I took the face glass off and cleaned it. I also wiped the face of the speedometer with a dry soft cloth....

I have a 1936 Cabriolet and I don't have the tin for under the front top bow. Do you have a tin strip that is good enough to sell?

If you put the fuel pickup on before you install the tank and connect the fuel hose to it you won't have to cut the floor so much but you won't have access to it if there is a problem. I will patch...

I just went through the whole process. Getting the old one out was a chore in that it actually have to pry it out of the chassis. There is a company called "Tanks" that will sell you the 12 gallon...

WHEN i GOT MY 36 CABRIOLET THE TOP IRONS WERE AS IF WELDED IN A HEAP.
I USED GIBS PENETRATING SPRAY. IT TOOK A WHILE BUT EVERYTHING IS LOOSE AND WORKD FREELY.

I have been told by other Ford barners that if you remove the top of tha gague you can clean the points.
I have a 12v system. I am having my own problems. I have replaced the KS sender with a Bob...

Do you mean before the gauge or before the sender as you said?
