Re: 1954 Ranch Wagon e brake cable springs

I can't remember the exact location of the springs I've seen in the past, but fairly sure they didn't connect to the leaf spring u-bolt! My guess would be the exhaust install guys moved them.

Re: current draw king seely gauges

There are reducers for this that do not require any knowledge of the current draw. A simple solution is to use any later model Ford voltage drop unit, salvage yards are full of them and not that...

Here in Wichita there are a lot of shops that sell used tires, and only used tires. I use them a lot for mocking things up with different sizes and for rolling things around. Some times as cheap as...

Re: 1954 Ranch Wagon e brake cable springs

The ones I've seen, these were years ago, were very rusty and doing next to nothing, LOL.

Re: 58 ford 332 fe runs with battery disconneted

I've heard that many times. In my boating days we would often take the battery out of the vehicle used to back the boat down the ramp. Then install the battery in to boat to start it and running it...

Re: Condenser

I don't think blood is going to improve it one bit! :)

Hope it's not serious.

Re: Post pics?. . . from computer to Ford Barn?

Easiest way to do it, at least starting out, is to save the photo file to your desktop. Then it is right there and easy to local.

Re: 1939 Ford tudor Temp gauage

An open circuit will show full hot. If it has the two senders, one in each head, one is an on-off switch. If it is off (open circuit) the gauge will show full hot. So would a disconnected wire.

Re: 65 Comets

Thanks, I'm modifying 66 mustang parts, think it's going to work out good. Currently waiting on one part. Interesting that the 65 Comet was unique in this area, no apparent reason for it.

There are battery state of charge charts that can give you an idea of what the battery charge is.

Re: E-Brake Cables

I really don't know, the cable itself is enclosed in a very heavy vinyl. Sure look like stainless.
