Re: 48 Coupe-There's another old Ford on the road

The car was repainted somewhere along the line, but the color is pretty close to the factory paint. There are a few places where the original color can be seen, as under the spot light mount. I...

Re: Oil Filled Fan Hub Questions

If you take it apart you will see how it works. See the link below for the information you need to know about the oil filled fan hub assembly. Probably isn't anything wrong with the one you have....

48 coupe- blowing condensers

Car was running fine. Quit running. I replaced the condenser. Started and ran for 20 seconds and blew that condenser and quit.
Is my coil shorted?

Re: 48 coupe- car stance is not even all around

Actually I discovered the way the rear end was hanging low on the driver side when I was getting ready to start taking it apart to fix a seal and do an axle swap. When I saw it, I was reminded that...

48 coupe- car stance is not even all around

I raised the car today and put it up on four stands. The rear axle droops down about 1 1/ 2 inches on the driver side when the rear tires are up in the air. I guess this means the spring is weak on...

48 Coupe B-4245 rear axle seals

In the green bible I see there is one B-4245 seal in each bell (left and right). Some kits have 3 seals. I cannot locate the third seal that I assume is for the pinion shaft. Can anyone tell me...

I thought about opening...
