Re: Tachometer for my model A

It's fun to watch the expression on an A owner's face when you run the tach to 3500 RPM on the chassis dyno. Too, ask your passenger to keep an eye on the oil pressure gauge while you're driving.

Re: Where to find Ethanol free gasoline in your area

Had non-ethanol delivered to the house yesterday from the Co-op and the price was $2.44 a gallon. Worth every penny if you have old cars, small engines or outboards. That Pure Gas site isn't always...

Re: Title goes with Frame or Engine?

My post was made to show how the title process can be abused. My first Model A had a phony number stamped on the frame and it went into the CO system, that car was sold to a Florida resident and...

Re: Title goes with Frame or Engine?

Bought my first Model A in 1983. Since I was doing a Rootlieb Speedster, I bought a frame and running gear. The owner kept the CA pink slip and stamped a phony chassis number on my frame, as I did...

Re: Bill Williamson

There are three Model A sites. I find it interesting when you see the answers on each site when a person asks the same question three times. Kind of like doctor shopping to get the answer you want.

Re: U-haul open trailer

When I hit a campground, it takes about 5 minutes to take off the straps and push a button to tilt the trailer and off to dinner. No ramps makes it quick and easy.

Re: When is a "Model A" no longer a "Model A"

Then there is the "era correct" school of modifications. For instance, Ford dealers sold a down draft made by Stromberg-Bendix in 1931. There were a host of aftermarket heads, including OHV's...

Re: Was there once a Model A open bus on Catalina Island?

There was a handyman that had a T roadster pickup with a ladder rack that I would see from time to time in Avalon.

Re: Which Car-Like Vehicles Can Tow a Model A?

Too often, people under estimate the weight of a car/trailer combo and get into trouble or have mechanical issues. I suspect that the Honda will have a maximum tongue weight of 350 pounds and that...
