Got it unlocked. Took the lever off and put a longer 10/32 screw in so I could get a grip on the screw with a vice grips. Then as I pulled on the grips I wiggled the key to the LEFT and it...

I unfortunately find the 33-34 restoration manual a bit lacking in detail. The 35-6 manual I had with my 36 was excellent in comparison.

I used L A Awesome cleaner (a buck a bottle) and a green scuff pad with great success on surface rust. Exposes original paint nicely.

Randy, I had mine reconditioned by Vintage Voltage in Villa Park Illinois. You can have the basic or concourse quality restoration. Early V8 Clubmember as well.

I power washed the interior of an old Studebaker a few years ago and woke up a mouse pee smell that I could never get rid of. Sold the car.
