I have a 226 flathead in a 52 ford f2. I tried converting it to 12 volt and was unable to find an alternator that would charge the up the battery because the engine rpms are to low for it to charge...

Could it be a bad bulb? I switched from 12 to 6 volt and did not have this when using 12 volt.

Thanks fellas,

One wire comes from the horn to the relay left side center is power and the right goes to the switch through the steering column. Disconnected the wire going to the horn button...
