I think there are different degrees say 1-10 of how hard a cylinder head is stuck.
In this case, I think I reached # 10.
Model B marine converted engine.
Penetrating oil and head puller in full...

The owner is a friend so I only have the picture.
What I can see in the picture is not cast together with the block, so not part of the block.
If you zoom the image, it appears that the "pad" is...

Looks like someone tried installed bracket for B fuel pump.

1/8-28 BSP, The flank angle is 55

It's easy to mix them up, especially for us here on the other side of the pond where the BSP thread is more frequent!

Hope you guys can help me find out.

What purpose had Ford when they introduced the steam holes in the Model B engine?

I have several model B cylinder head where the steam holes are blocked....

I bought a B-engine that had been sitting in a Model A, and they had made some changes to the front end of the oil pan! Well .. you never know the reason.

Have a Model A frame that I want to put in a Model B engine. I suspect that there may be some clearance issues with the tie rod hits the Model B oil pan.
Someone who might have experience with this,...
