Re: Flathead Adjustable Lifter question

I just now an hour ago drilled my 16 little holes in a block for that. I'm no expert, but I have done the holes twice before and it all works great. I'll be curious what others say, but I'd rather...

Re: shipping frustration

Re: 12 volt switch on 6 volts

Denny: Except some of the brand new switches from NAPA, I've gotten some real trash lately. I'm still a NAPA man, but I now look for better switches.

Re: water pump lubricant

I thought it was just an obsolete term to denote "something to put in coolant to reduce rust and crud".

Re: Yup...It WILL Turn-Over!

I was thinking they needed one of those suicide knobs on the steering wheel. Then he tipped it over, I changed my mind.

Re: king pin replace

It wouldn't occur to me to buy new spindles, I like fixing old stuff. Experts will be along soon, but if you change the carb you'll also be changing the distributor. If it's stock now, that is.

Re: Pop-up Adds at Bottom of Screen

I hate this. At least it could be something that didn't flash and change constantly.

Re: aviation gas

If I ever knew just what JP4 was, I guess I've forgotten. Besides running it in the helicopters, we used it to heat c-rations and in our homemade bunker stove. Always did think it burned pretty good.
