Re: 1950 Ford Wiper

Re: Flathead Adjustable Lifter question

Re: Flat head pistons
I saw the replies over on the other forum, there are some differing opinions over here. After a lot of reading, I've left that bottom ring out of two engines and am getting ready to on a third....

Re: Toilet paper oil filter adapter
I always figured that if I had one of those I'd get all stressed worrying what brand of TP to buy for it. Charmin? Dollar General? Best Choice?

Re: 12 volt switch on 6 volts
Denny: Except some of the brand new switches from NAPA, I've gotten some real trash lately. I'm still a NAPA man, but I now look for better switches.

Re: Yup...It WILL Turn-Over!
I was thinking they needed one of those suicide knobs on the steering wheel. Then he tipped it over, I changed my mind.

Re: aviation gas
If I ever knew just what JP4 was, I guess I've forgotten. Besides running it in the helicopters, we used it to heat c-rations and in our homemade bunker stove. Always did think it burned pretty good.

Re: starter button
Make sure it's grounded real clean to the dashboard metal. Some of the hard to push problem could be to make that ground.
