I could pour it in my 40 engine and watch it leak out as it was idling. rear slinger did not sling it back too good, dripped out front seal--switched back to 20w50 kendal and have been using it...

no door panels, just the metal door. no carpet on floor just rubber mat--so if you want these take it to a local uph. shop. seat , headliner, back of cab, cowl panels available from all good V8...

well fenders were bigger for bigger tires than 1/2 ton thus different stud pattern

had to do the prime trick with a 60 hp motor that had sat for 10 years after running fine before that. also used some STP in the past, Lucas make a real good alternative to that stuff

I almost forgot that there was a change in the sides of the bed occurring about 49/50 went to a flat sides.

boxes were the same, tailgate had either script or block letters (after49) but I suppose that they used up all the old script tailgates. fenders same for 38/41, 42/47, 48/52, 53/56, 57/64 or even...

oil plugs left out, oil pump needs priming--pour oil down the sending unit hole until full, even if the plugs where left out pump still would move some oil. picture of a plug left out 20 plus years...

be sure to hone or polish the eye of the spring and use a little light oil . I have used a c clamp many times and a socket to do what you are talking about

the master cylinder rod should "rattle" or have a small amount of free play or otherwise every time you step on the brake it is building pressure and thus not releasing the brake

pull the rotor button off the shaft and look for carbon tracks on the shaft--could be shorted out!

surface rust, some rust on bed frame, right running board to fender area, floor skid strips, no wood, complete with tailgate $1500.00 or interested trades. picture posted soon.

are you going to use it as a truck or are you just going to ride around in it? I have changed several of these rock crushers over to 3 speed open drive trans missions from the 42 up pick up. easier...

did you pack the bearings with the proper grease--such as crc sta lube 3131?. just cleaned out a 29 rear axle some one pumped grease into the fitting on bottom of end of housing--all they did was...

I am new to A's. trying to mount a luggage rack to a 2 door sedan with rear mounted spare--I think I need two brackets to move the luggage rack back from the spare---could some one school me on this?

one of our V8 ers passed away and the family want to move 51 tudor with a new engine and lot of work was done on the car. look it up on v8 for sale it is in anderson,sc and they are ready to deal

I will assume the car has original engine? original distributor? if the answer is yes to both then on the pass side of the distributor there is a advance adjustment screw with a slide plate marked...
