Need a passenger seat back for a 1938-40 2-door sedan. The 3 years should be the same. Looking for some friends that are trying to put together a departed buddy's 40 coupe for his wife.

Re: 1927 Model T Vin #s

Just as a bit of extra info, Canadian T's in 26 and 27 were stamped on the passenger side top of the rail and started with a 6 for 26 and a 7 for 27. Not sure of the other years as I am mostly...

Hard to find a good one as the steel was bad on these and they cracked like crazy. I don't think this will work on a 118 as they aren't v'd enuff. I probably have a plateable one at the farm under...

I have 2, maybe 4, I will have to check - 16x4 wheels in MooseJaw if you need more. I think I may still have some 16x4 1/2 42-48 wheels too.

Re: 41 Ford - dash

In Australia, the 42-48 fords all used 41 dashes. A 40 dash would require a bit of work to make it fit as the body on a 40 is narrower. Pat

Re: 48 mercury bumpers vs. 48 Ford bumpers

If this is a 118 inch wheelbase Merc, the ford front probably won't work as the front merc bumper is boomerang shaped. The ford rear would work, but you will need the bumper irons as well. 42-47...
