fuel line seals

installed new fueline and felt seals. after couple of weeks they started weeping fuel. Tightening didn't stop it anyone use something different?

I put a new carb. on my 19, flooded with feul and leaked. The float valve seat was not tight against it's gasket. probably dried out from storage.

stock sending unit checks good. shorting sending unit wire to ground gives no movement on gauge. Had a short and fire on wiring harness, probably fried gauge

Need to send my fuel gauge in for repair, can I remove just the fuel gauge or do I have to remove oil pressure to as a unit?

Anderson manifold

just bought a 19 touring, it has an anderson manifold. Is there any performance advantage with this? Seems to have more get up and go than my 27 coupe. But the coupe has a vaporizer carb. Not real...

Installing a 37 steering box in a 35 coupe. when using the 35 mount which hole gets redrilled. the top slide hole or the bottom round hole? I have a 37 mount but think it be easier using the 35 mount...

32-36 aluminum heads are getting hard to find. This head looks good on the bottem, crack can be repaired. I hunted all over for a pair aluminum heads, ended up using cast iron truck heads on my 35

I built a pietenpol 40 yrs. ago. Sold it recently, To old to get in and out of it. Good flying airplane. Had the model A engine. Had the standard oil pan but I put a high compretion head on it.

I went through all you are with my 35 five window. A new core solved the problem. 80 yr. old cores dont cut it especialy with newer pumps. I just cover the cores cold.

A new harness was installed so I am sure everything is hooked up right. He just didn't realize old ford are pos. grd. He did install directionals so I will have to check those for proper wireing
