Re: 1932 V8 standard roadster update
David, it appears that the license plate lamp lens is red in the RH tail lamp. Was the dealer installed second tail lamp supplied like this?

Re: 8BA fuel pump pushrod diameter
Just checked 2 NOS 8BA push rods in some NOS bushings & they are quite loose. I have just fitted some of these parts in a 8BA I have just rebuilt & they are no tighter than the ones I took out.

Re: Oil slinger, crank snout, crank sleeve.
The same slinger is used from about 1939 through to the 8BAs & as the seal sleeve was part of the front pulley on the pre 8BAs you could slide the slinger off & on with the key in place.

Re: Timing gear oiling?
I have heard of this been done on 8BAs when using the early timing gears as they change the thrust to against the block face. With the 8BA not getting oil to this area like the early blocks get from...

Re: Hood Hinge ROD....
My original hood hinge had a tit that sticks out of end of one half of the hood hinge that went into the brackets. The tits were all part of one half of the hinge.

31 Wide Bed PU Tail light mounting
Is there anyone that knows how that tail light arm mounts to the bed? Is there a bracket riveted to the bed side like the earlier one? A photo would be great.
Thanks,
Phil.

Re: 32 Pickup Tail lamp mounting
David, Thanks for the reply & photos. I have both of those brackets.
It's the original mounting of the tail lamp under the deck that I need a photo of.
Thanks.
