the 30 has 4 pieces on ea, side. the 31 only has the one on the outside. if you are only replacing the out side trim. the 31 will do you just fine. most reproductions out there do not fit very well....

Vern depending on the length of the cable that pop out can be used in Model A`s with the oval speedo. 28-29 had a shorter cable than the early to mid 30

the V8 shocks used a different filler plug. I`m with Bill on this, I have rebuilt well over 100 of them and i`m setting on over 200 model A Houde, shocks right now. i have never seen any different...
