Re: headlight current tied to ignition switch?
I hooked up my dash light to the wire going to the tail light. Now if the parking lights or headlights are still on when I turn the key off I got a visual reminder. No goofs since I did this.

Gas damage on rubber
I accidentally got gasoline on my running board and didn’t notice until the next day. The rubber is now blistered or wavy. Can the damage be repaired? It’s not where it will be stepped on.
Thanks,...

Re: Very dirty filter bowl
Werner, when I had a similar problem I installed a dirty leg. When the rust clears up I will install the correct valve and pencil filter. If you are not sure what I’m talking about, do a google...

spark plug caps
Hi all, I was just looking at a Restoration Supply Co. catalog and noticed something called “spark plug caps”. I must admit I like the look of 3X and other vintage brass capped spark plugs. Anybody...

Re: Speaking of shocks . .
Don’t forget about rebuilt originals. I bought a set from John Holland of Valley City Ohio and so far so good.

Re: Clutch shudder and horseshoe shims
To clarify, when the clutch pedal is pushed down 1/4", the throw out bearing begins to touch at least one of the fingers on the pressure plate. The clutch pedal can easily be pressed down one inch...

Clutch shudder and horseshoe shims
I recently replaced my clutch when I could no longer shift without grinding the gears. I assumed my problem was a spring slipping out of place on the clutch disk. What I found was a broken rivet. I...

Window glass
Hi all, my local club had a vehicle inspection day today and we were unsure how to distinguish between tempered glass and plate glass. Laminated glass was no problem of course. Any suggestions?

Re: wheel size
Merry Christmas all. I should point out that pick-ups did not change all at once to the new style in 1930. I almost bought a 1930 open cab pick-up that still had the 1928/29 body style but then again...

Diamond B i.d.
I know this is unimportant but I'm curious. The engine in my car is a model B. It has the small diamond in the casting but there is no date code. Is this common?

Re: model B motor in model A chassis
No problem, that's what I'm running right now. You must make one change to your timing procedure: instead of setting the timing with the spark lever all way up(retard) put the lever 1/2 way down.

Re: Canadian Model A/AA production numbers
Tom, the rad emblem on Canadian built model As was unique. The script was raised like the 1928/9s but there was no enamel. They were bronze, whether it was originally plated or not I do not know. Not...

Repro Gear shift lever
I know from other members in my club and also fordbarn that not all shifters are the same quality. Who sells the best? Judging standards do not matter to me.
