I've used a soda bottle with antifreeze in it with good results. Make a small hole for the mice to get in and out and be sure to fix the bottle to something with duct tape so pets can't knock it over.

WOW! I haven't heard that name in years, had no idea they were still around. "Tubey Dick" made me a set of "spaghetti" headers for a 351 Cleveland back in the mid '70's.

I was always told you should never hang a flathead by bellhousing bolts as the casting is not strong enough and you should only hang it from the exhaust ports.
