How does one grease the throw out bearing without removing radiator, fan, generator, clutch housing bolts, and detaching and moving motor forward from drive train?

How does this make sense? Just getting ready to start rebuilt flathead v8 engine installed in 1949 Ford truck. Filled with oil and coolant pending celebratory start. Just noticed very minimal leak...

Yes, thanks, looks just like it. I did test the control valve with a hose, no leaks but turning off valve does not completely prevent flow. Not sure why my dad disconnected it.

Yes, two connection tubes, the bottom one "y's" off the top which penetrates the firewall into the heater unit inside the cab

yes, you are correct, meant to say cylinder head instead of intake. I have edited my post. Thank you. Not understanding your sequence of hook ups, sorry. Will study. thx

First Time start

Getting ready for first start of overhauled, re-installed'49 flathead engine. Have checked electric fuel pump, carb, and lines for fuel leaks and all is clean.

This is a 1.5 ton Ford F5 truck...
