Both my cars, a 35 and a 36, have replacement 37-38 pump-in-block capable engines and I'm just fine with it. The one in the 36 has a rebuilder tag.

My solution at the time; The one piece that was useful on the repro sender was the float. I grafted it onto the original arm.

Lantern batteries are a standard part of my 6V troubleshooting kit. Great for light sockets and horns and having for long road trips when I expect issues. Rewiring my '35 was made easier with this...

Can you tell us more about the radiator you are working with? A stock car would want the multiple brackets (clearly shown in the pictures) to be part of the radiator for frame and fender and grill...

I believe V8-60 has 17 head studs.

21 stud engines were produced from 1932 through late 1938.
