mine has a little pitting on the inner wrom gear race, worm itself is near perfect ... strange coinsedence, my machineist is abot 80 yrs old, you should have seen his eyes when i came in toting in...

nice engineering. sure makes it nice when the box hsg is cast steel instead of cast iron huh ? going to drop my hsg off at the machine shop to have the flange cut off & the o.d turnned down a bit...

I,am going to use this in a 32 frame. whats you fellas thought on how to mount it ? cut the flange off and weld a new one on with the corrected angle or use the vern tardell wedge ?

OK,got the box openned up. your directions was perfect. now to clean this goop up. looks like axle grease to me inside. how do you go about pressing the gear off the steering shaft ? i have a good...

got it all worked out fellas. my eyes are getting bad now and it turnned out there was some grit in the nut and in the depths of the sector threads. got it all cleanned out and life is good praise...
