Re: Rear Spring Removal

I agree with Gary. Be very careful. Can you get the old bolt out and install a longer one? The vendors have a longer one for re-assembly....

I use the cork/neoprene gaskets from Snyder's with no problems, no sealant needed. Get the brass slip ring also. I don't believe it is included with the gasket set.

Re: My Distributor Cam Screw is Stuck

I hear what you're saying but why should an electronic ignition need to be timed on the side of the road or in the shop? Once set, electronic ignition should not change, unless a distributor bushing...

Re: Flywheel housing mounting

You stated it will chatter, I say mine doesn't, nor does anyone elses I know of. I don't need your "theory". As I said "One thing that will cause clutch chatter when using the Float a Motor is if you...

Re: Flywheel housing mounting

Not true. I have Float a Motor rear mounts and stock front and I have zero clutch chatter.

One thing that will cause clutch chatter when using the Float a Motor is if you don't install or are...

Re: Flywheel housing mounting

The rear mounts have rubber insulators between the mount and frame and somewhat flexible but I agree it is a 'different' set up. I guess it has worked for ~90 years tho.

For your piece of mind...

Re: Engine upgrade

Can we assume you meant 'auto spark advance' since mechanical advance is on most Model As?

I guess I'm in the minority. :p I have never blown a radiator hose or do I know anybody that has. I do check my equipment out before heading out.

Re: Evan's Coolant

As Patrick says keep them...

Re: 1929 u joint
