If you wire turn signals to car as a - gnd and rest of car is + gnd, it would be a dead short I would think. I would wire entire turn signal assy as a + gnd.

I must have been lucky. I tapped the lock pin out on my '41 fordor and tapped the bottom of my king pins and they came right out that was with 129K miles. No telling if they were originals or not.

why not disconnect the fuel line before the pump(cap it off) and empty the carb. then dribble some fuel in the top of the carb. If you have spark it should start, but briefly. If it starts then...

Only problem I've had with Facet pumps is mine would quit operating. Tap it with something and it would start up.... maybe! Friend of mine said the gas, not gasoline, inside the pump would leak out...

as far as I know they were not '41 items. I assume they were added later or rear fenders were changed to later yrs but bottoms of the fenders, where they meet the running boards, would not match

on my '60, the mirror mounst to 2 screw holes in center of the top molding. also has a plastic piece that attaches to same screws that hold the ends of the visors up in place.
maybe peel headliner...

I buy universal fit fuel pumps at auto zone, $30 more or less. In 20 yrs of using them I had 1 go bad. also use a fuel reg. to keep PSI in 2-3 lb range.

talked to a guy that has a Tesla and it goes like 450 mi. on a charge and will recharge in 1 hr. It's called a super charged Tesla and yes I heard that GM will go all electric.

Some LED's are designed to operate only with neg. gnd. If you attach wires and power the center rear contact and the base to gnd on your 6V battery they probably will work
