Re: So much for Irish Spring and Dryer Sheets.....

This trap has a tube to put in the peanut butter which is almost impossible for the rat to eat without setting the trap.

Re: Big 3 Swap Meet

I bought my Feb 2019 ticket at the swap last year. I hope that will still be good. I'm not surprised on lack of interest in the August meet. It would dilute the February meet attendance and even...

Re: Why No Bob Drake at LA Roadster..?

For me, seeing a few hundred similar 32 "shiny" roadsters is boring. The real show is the variety of grubby - shiny cars in the swap area. I was a vendor and sales were dismal, but I plan to try...

Re: Internet auction experience,NOT Good

Even though the seller sometimes gets irritated I try to make sure the packaging will protect the item. I have had rare parts packed poorly and arrive broken. The refund is not much consolation when...

Re: How to remove pilot bearing? '47 59A engine

My son used pieces of wheat bread. I told him he was crazy, but it worked! The auto parts stores didn't have the right sized puller

The back glass is delaminating in my 1937 four door humpback. Does someone make cut glass with the Ford script so it looks original?

Re: De-rusting with molasses

I have used it for years. I got a 5 gallon bucket of liquid molasses at a feed store. I think it was under $25. I mix it with water about 10-1 then throw parts in and leave them for a few weeks. I...

Re: Optima 6v battery

I think they stamp a code on the case to tell the year and month when it was made. I saw a youtube video that showed a number starting with 6J = 2016 and J is 10th letter in alphabet so 10/2016. ...

Re: what fuel regulator for electric fuel pump

It's actually for a 1935 Chrysler Airflow, but I figured it would be similar to my stock 1937 Ford as far as carb and pressure.
I'm using a Carter P4070 pump. Its says it has 4-6 psi Output. My...

what fuel regulator for electric fuel pump

I have an auxiliary electric fuel pump to prime the carb or if the mechanical one fails. I have it on a switch so I only turn it one when needed. What is a good fuel pressure regulator to put in line?

Re: Release of Interest - CA YOM License Plates?

I don't think there is a way to "clear" plates that have been used in the California YOM program. If the plates were last in use in your name then you can sign a release for the next owner of the...

The black material on my roof is starting to fade. I know they had many top dressing products in the 1920's to paint the tops. My top is in good shape but needs to be more black and less gray. What...

Re: Saving a family treasure...(1936 1and1/2 ton)
