Anyone recognize this part?

any one recognize this part? it seems to go under the radiator, but does not show on the ford exploded drawing of the '46 front end. i disassembled this car 30 years ago so i'm not even sure it came...

i believe wagon & delivery fenders have different shaped flanges where they bolt to the body!

question about '42-'47 sedan deliverys

what have you owners used for back door weatherstripping? also, what about headliner bows when the originals are missing? i found that sedan bows aren't even close! :( thanks!

i think the head pipes are different because the manifolds dump in a different spot.

i've installed many brake lines back in the 70's & 80's using u.s.a. made parts with no problems. now i'm using off-shore tubes & fittings [all i can find] & getting lots of leaks! anyone else have...

yesterday, while installing the right front inner fender panel on my '46,i noticed what appears to be 4 factory made holes in the area next to the battery tray. 2 about 1/4" & 2 about 3/8". any one...

i have a "slanted" 16x4" wheel that i bought from joe mac at ford obsolete [many years ago]. he said it was a post -war wheel sold over the parts counter.

'46-'48 ford brakes are still lockheeds. also, isn't the tire contact patch the same size in sq. in. with any type of tire? [ on same car with same pressure? ] please correct me if i'm wrong!

seems like the '42 distributor has 2 wires that have to cross over to the opposite side of the engine.? i don't understand why.
