If there is proper free play, and it wont go in gear...its a stuck clutch disk I would suspect

I've had a few stuck clutches on the near dead junk I drag home. If it runs, I go out on the gravel road I live on in first gear, hold the clutch pedal to the floor and stomp on and off the gas pedal...
