Re: Back end of a T-5
Nice job. I like your "I can do this" style. Looking forward to the finished product.

Re: Is this heater from a 1937 Ford?

Re: Is this heater from a 1937 Ford?
Thanks for looking and the feedback. I appreciate it. It was on a shelf with one with a Sears Roebuck tag so it probably is a universal unit.

Re: Interesting bore dimensions
The Hobby Machinist is a great forum for beginners. No flaming for newbie questions like on some of the other forums. Lots of antique machines. Easy to get sucked in.
I enjoy your threads, even...

Re: Interesting bore dimensions
NICE lathe! Now you'll be asking about grinding HSS blanks. I tried a few times and finally bought insert type but still HSS. Enjoy your new toy.

I put a very straight and rust free 1948 F2 Express Bed on my 52 F3....

I found out when I put a 3.4 V6 from a 4Runner into my 88 pickup. I was blasted on the forums...

Re: First On Race Day

I saw a guy at the Lake with an old Biesemeyer boat with a Huey helicopter engine in it hooked up to a V-drive. Also crazy but I liked it too.
And another guy at the same lake with...
