It would help us to know your location, for instance NY doesnít issue titles for any vehicle before 1973. 99A does look like a Mercury#. I once looked at a car from another state that had a cutout...

If I were you Iíd find an original 94 and send it to CharlyNY for a rebuild keep the other for a spare.

Try spraying brake parts cleaner around base of manifold,carb,anyplace where you could think of where it would leak. The rpm will change when you get close. Wiper hose is another possibility, mine...

I take my regular batteries out for the winter and put them in my cellar(cool dry place), charge it full and leave it until Spring, Iíve had no issues with my 2-6 volt batteries or the riding lawn...

See my old thread, picked up a Ď40 Ford coil at a swap meet and had it rebuilt by Skip, no issues at all and it looks great.
