The upholstered interior curved, rear quarter panel has come loose in my 1931 Delux Coupe.

Fuel tank neck basket removal

I want to "calibrate" the fuel gauge in my '31 Coupe. However in the filler neck has a filter basket preventing access to the tank.

Yes - at least I THINK they are lined up. I lined up the tapered part of the locking pin with the notch in the king pin.

I guess I am so used to a closed system, that I was not expecting so much evaporation. For now I will stop worrying about it and just monitor.

All I want to do is simply install a "lever" action controller with LED lights. None of the options discussed (easily) fit my criteria.
