The Stromberg and Holley Carb. both have the ball end on the throttle. If you want to use the Stromberg style on the Holley It should attach and work. The later and larger Holley end will not work...

The exhaust area of the block may be very thin. Use caution removing any material. I have seen more than one leak coolant from a bolt hole.

The 91-99 is the correct Carb. for your engine and year. You seem to be ignoring people that have asked you for a photo, so I will not ask. You should know both rods are adjustable.

I also believe the smaller ones are 40 hot water heater. They are embossed B-1728 which is most likely the Mfg. part number not Fords. There is also the Mfg Co. logo embossed which may be Sunday.
