I don't know if this helps or not, when I mounted mine I bolted the spare on it and positioned it so the tire had about 1 inch clearance around the indent in the fender. marked it and welded it looks...

One of the books I have said Ford used masking templates to cover the areas they did not want paint on, like the head area of the block and intake manifold.

The old Harleys I rode had brake rods and cables too, didn't seem too complicated so now I have four wheels to adjust instead of two. I vote for mechanical brakes on my A.

Take it to a shop that does a lot of trucks with straight axles, they have seen bent or twisted axles before and know how to deal with it.

Right front fender 1931

I am looking for a very good right side front fender for my 31 roadster project, no bondo or heavy pitting needs to have a very good bead line, let me know what you may have, must be original Ford....

Hi, I was told there was a guy that is in Hershey that installs the wheel well into your fender. Anyone know about this, any info would be great Thanks.

I finally got the body off the Roadster and pressure washed the frame, engine and tranny, looks good. The body well that's another story, I will have to breakdown and buy a drivers rear quarter....

I think Jerry in ... is right, I bet coil, Sometimes heat soak raises temps higher after you turn it off. HOPE YOU FIND IT.

Thanks everyone. Mitch thanks for the picture, I can build that in the shop. My plan is to remove the box and column as a unit and disassemble on the bench. I will do some reading. Jon
