Smiths rotted out on my 39 in just 2 years . I thought I was running it long enough to dry up the condensation . On my 47 they are still good after 15 years . It makes you wonder where are they made...

As I posted before I worked for the PO. For 36 years been retired for 25 , what A mess it is now . I will not send anything thru the PO. They canít even get Christmas cards delivered for 2 months ....

Clem the rods on my 39 pkp. Took some tweaking , bending to get to not bind on the new dash grommets . I am still not able to get the throttle to stay where. I want it .Sunshine

I have 39 pkp. I wish it looked like that , but I chose to leave it original . The fuel pump with the bowl is not original to the 39 and is causing some of the kinking , you can take the fuel pump...

Tom you are doing a helmet dist. The only thing worse is the Rabbit ear cap that was used on the 2 bolt dist. I donít see how you can possibly get the wires to stay in using the crimped ends .
