I am in the process of doing the M/C swap on my 39 and I am using the Chassis Engineering adapter with a 78 Ford Granada M/C everything is fitting up good.

I have a good line on a 48 F1 rearend with brakes. Am I correct in thinking the backing plate and all will bolt up to my 39 rear? Thanks

Thank you very much. That looks just like the grill trim on the 39. I saw some on ebay pretty fair price. I think Ill take a chance on it.

Guestimate, how long will your car run with lights on with battery if the generator stopped charging? Full charge on good 6v battery.
