Re: 28 Broadlace trim
Here's the broadlace trim on my VE-28 Coupe. It is very close to original. If your interior will be in the brown tones, your broadlace trim would also be in brown.

Re: Nitrocellulose
Hibernia Restorations used to mix nitrocellulose lacquer but I doubt they still sell it. I bought several gallons from them over 20 years ago and was very satisfied with it.

Re: Most Difficult Restoration Tasks
Actually, the first generation rear engine mounts (on the first 200 vehicles) go together more like current Float-a-Motors. There is a bracket riveted to the frame rail that a thick piece of rubber...

Re: Most Difficult Restoration Tasks
For me currently is assembling the very early 28 equalizer break system along with the first type rear engine mounts. Everything must be done in sequence otherwise it won't all fit together. I...

Re: Bent timing pin
My guess is that the timing pin was bent when someone was reinstalling the engine. They probably used a 2X4 to pry the engine into place, placing it down in the front crossmember and pushing against...

Re: Steering wheel paint
It would help if you mentioned which steering wheel you have. I have repaired red '28 wheels by filling cracks with Super Glue and fine dust from another red wheel. After that, I simply sanded the...

Yes, both of those original belts sold right away! The first original one I bought was at Hershey probably 15+ years ago. I paid $600. It was not NOS.
I have seen NOS brown fan belts sold for...

Re: External door handles
What you have are a Chinese attempt to reproduce a Model A door handle. Unfortunately, they are not even close to original door handles.

Re: The Spindle Bolt Locking Pin: A-3122
