Re: New to me 1936 5 window coupe

Re: 1937 Ford Speedo?
HI Dave.
Ford did not produce a "Business Coupe" in 1937.
Only three coupe models available for 1937:
Club Coupe, DeLuxe Coupe and Standard Coupe.

Thermostats
I am going to order some thermostats from Joe's.
I have a 37 Ford 85hp. I drive about 400-500 miles a year.
Should I get 160 degree or 180 degree thermostats?

Re: Leakage from radiator cap 1937 85hp
I see that Joe's offers 160 degree and 180 degree thermostats.
What is recommended for my light driving?
Should I get 160 or 180 degree thermostats?
Thank you.

Re: $$$$$
So, tell us, what was the quoted price for the rebuild?
No excuse is good enough to replace a flathead with an SBC.

Leakage from radiator cap 1937 85hp
I took a short ride on Saturday in my 1937 Ford with 85hp.
When I returned, I noticed that some coolant had leaked out of the radiator cap. The cap is really old and appears to be original.

Re: Driving in NYC 1945
Packard was building engines for the P-51 and for PT boats and Studebaker was making B-17 engines.
